This is a traditional courtly costume that finds expressions in modern formal and wedding outfits. Traditionally known as the Lacha, it is a long overcoat with a flowing gown at the bottom. The Lacha has another form in the Indian apparel, known as the Ghagra choli, the only difference being the short length of the shirt of the Ghagra. This lacha comes in a navy blue satin fabric with embroidery work on the shirt. The shirt is in the form of an Angarakha, which is a long overcoat with a front open. There are slits on the sides and the front. The embroidery work, which consists of small flowers in blue, green, and yellow threads, is done on the neck extending up to the yoke, on the hands and on the bottom part of the coat.

Plain Dupatta accompanies the lacha with gold colored trinkets on the ends.
