The border is unique yet again. It is woven with horse driven chariots all over. The weave is in biscuit colored threads. The pallav is however, the grandest part of the sari. It has different themes woven into it. There is the theme of Vishnu with his Sudershan Chakra that is his celestial weapon. There is also the theme of Dronacharya and His student the mighty pandava Arjuna. There is also the scene of Bhishma on his deathbed of arrows, which is form the battle of Mahabharata.
