This is a very fancy sari in crepe, that is very light and easy to carry. The body is in a double shade of light and dark pink color with large motifs done in the tie and dye (bandhini) technique. This technique is the traditional dyeing pattern followed in Gujarat, where the cloth is tied and then dyed with the required color, leaving the tied area white. The tie and dye motifs form small clusters within squarish patterns.

The border of the sari has zari strips on it. The pallav too is interesting with thin stripes of zari on it forming a pattern in itself. There are also small zari butis scattered all over on the pallav.
