In his artistic expression, Uttam intentionally deviates from realistic portrayals of figures to bring to life the world of dreams, agonies, and ecstasies on his canvas. The characters he creates belong to a surrealistic DREAM world, with dreamy closed eyes that transport viewers to their own mystic realm of dreams.
To convey the depth of emotions, Uttam employs dark colors to capture their pain, while bright colors symbolize their dreams and hopes, even amidst despair and troubles.
