About the Activity Book
The foundational stage which includes children in the age group of 3 to 8 years is of utmost importance and this is the period when the young brain develops at á rapid rate than any other time in an individual's life. For a healthy brain development, the children need positive learning experiences catering to all the domains of development. The positive and planned experiences will build a foundation for future learning of young children, their health, their behaviour and success in future life. The everyday playful experiences shape a young child's brain. The exemplar worksheets (total 92) given in ANAND-Activity Book for Balvatika' portray the same.

Foreword
India has a celebrated tradition of nurturing children's formative years through a well-defined process, widely known as sanskars. Transmitted from one generation to another, these sanskars pave the way for adequate care to be taken in the first eight years of children's lives to favourably shape every aspect of their growth, behaviour and capabilities in the later years.
