About the Editor

Niranjan Goswami is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English, Chandernagore College, Hooghly. His areas of interest include the European Renaissance, Ramist rhetoric, Ciceronian and Senecan styles, Reformation thought and Early American Puritan sermons. He has published on Lorenzo Valla, Thomas Hoby, Pietro Bembo and Shakespeare. He has translated Terry Eagleton and Arthur Rimbaud from English and French respectively into Bengali. He is presently writing a book on the English followers of Peter Ramus.
