The present book deals With various aspects of horoscope like analysis of education, profession, knowledge inherent, nature / means of earning, income and more complex is determining the course and the graph of his professional achievement.

Dr Shanker Adawal, the author, is a management professional. He has over the last thirty three years worked with various prestigious corporates in India and abroad. His experience of working with L&T, Xerox, Tata, Nortel and with a leading energy major of the country, alongwith a Jyotishacharya from Varanasi gives him the perfect blend of Intellect and logic. The son of a bureaucrat father and an educationist mother, he is a graduate in Economics (Hons), Masters in Business Economics from Delhi University, PhD in Economics and complementing his skills with software and other leadership programs from Singapore and other Dr. Shanker Adawal countries.

His passion has been astrology, a passion that fell his way in childhood, a zeal that he picked from his father. As a child he often saw his father, a bureaucrat and an astrologer; getting admiration from many eminent astrologers, which inspired him. He used to spend long hours participating in intellectual debates that his father used to have with his friends and fellow astrologers With thousands of books In his library, free consultations through magazines, television, portals and newspapers around the globe, he continues his journey on his passion. He has been felicitated and awarded for his contribution in this field. He also has keen interest in Human Rights.

The notion that astrologers can unfold lives and reveal what waits at the next bend is a thought that comes to all and populist claims have inspired the author to come up with a series of books that will discuss the various aspects in astrology, putting together the research and findings by various groups and the experience gained during his journey. The purpose of the encyclopedia is an attempt to put a clear understandinq of the process of astrology, taking into account the first basic principles and dealing with different topics. The encyclopedia which would consist of over eighteen books is intended to be brought out over a period of two years. These would cover the basics in astrology and then go on to the predictive techniques, the nadi astrology, tajik, yogas, nakshatras, rectification of birth time, vargas, dashas, mundane, prashna, muhurta, remedy and other aspects of interest. The advantage of this would be that both students and those who want to pursue research can progress the understanding of this science in a systematic manner. Also the complete set will be of great value to those in India and abroad who want to understand various levels and will give them the flexibility of dwelling into the complexities in a coherent manner. With the growing interest to learn this science in various countries, the readers there will find this series of books very useful.

The word 'Profession' brings into the horizon a belief of a person in his capabilities or inherent potention which a native has but also symbolizes specialization on a knowledge and academic preparations and finally it also brings forth the needs of livelihood and vocation.

In the current environment, it is seen that a profession followed by an individual may not be akin to his inherent potential and with the number of fields increasing it is also very common to have individuals who have specialized in one field but are earning by engaging and adopting entirely different skill sets. It is common to have people in the Administrative Services who are Medical Graduates and Entrepreneurs with no specific knowledge skill but robust common sense. In this context, profession, determination and analyzing means a look at various aspects of tlte Horoscope. It means an analysis of education, knowledge, inherent nature, means of earning income and more complexed is determining the course and the graph of his professional achievement.

In this Book, I have started with the importance of understanding the Karmic Destiny. Destiny which is in store can be understood by the strength of Jupiter on one hand and the strength of the other outer planets like; Sun, Moon, Mars and Mercury define the nature of profession and the ease/hardship by which a person would attain it. The Book is a collection of material composed by various authors who have worked in this field and I have tried to build it up gradually so that the compilation can be understood and a complexed subject like Profession has been dealt from cradle to appoint where both the early runners as well as those engaged in research would find this composition as a good reference.

The planets and their influence on profession alongwith service, business, politics and other professions have been dealt with. I have also dealt with the above the aspect of finance, prestige, yogas and a special chapter on combination which lead to people adopting spiritualism, crime and prostitution.

In the Book, apart from analyzing the ups and down, I have also presented the analysis of profession through the Bhrigu Nadi Technique and the K.P. System . To conclude, I have also gone into the common queries which can be dealt through the horary system analyzing basic queries along with a chapter of gem stones. Remedies and Gem Stones, while dealing with profession is a complexed subject which needs to be dealt holistically as this aspect of our life touches various facets and is extremely complexed, as explained above.
