The growing interest in Jyotisha, the world over has led to extensive literature, appearing on the subject, covering basically parasari astrology. However, there is a branch of jyotisha, not as known or predicted but nevertheless, quite convincing in the delineation of horoscopes; that is also catching the imagination of the avid astrology enthusiast. This branch, Nadi astrology, has a different approach in that. It does not take into account the Ascendant, the pivotal factor in parasari Jyotosha, but revolves round the progressions of the planets, primarily the major planets, with reference to the planetary positions at birth. Dr. D. A. Negandhi, with years of experience in this branch, shares his insights in it, through this volume. Dr. Negandhi's efforts, come as a boon taking the reader, through the nuances of Nadi astrology at a time, when there are many misconceptions on this subject. The examples and illustrations drawn from his case studies, help in driving home, some of the more difficult points.
Important combinations, are ascribed specific results, with their timing related to transits of Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu in particular. Extensive research appears to have gone the contents of this volume. The author's treatment of this subject, is both lucid and informative. I am sure it will be received well by the astrology interested public.
I wish the author all success in his future endeavours too in this branch of astrology.
