Preface

Many thousand years ago when mythology was taking roots, it was difficult to understand various natural processes taking place around. Many sages were very curiours to have an understanding of those processes. They explained every process by creating one god for every process and thus vast pantheon of gods and goddesses were born. Over the centuries scientific knowledge has increased and exact explanation of every natural process is available, making those gods and goddesses irrelevant, confirming that man created God, God did not create man. To guard gods, over the centuries, many superstitions were created, which has not allowed us to say goodnight to those gods.

Thousands of sages together created wonderful pieces of literature such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana and Mahabharata and many more, together called the Shastras. These pieces civilised man, gave society a structure, which helped us to reach the present stage. For many centuries, Brahmins dispersed Shastras verbally. In between they felt elated and created the caste system, placing themselves at the apex and Shudras at the bottom rung of society. This created a hereditary but fractured society, which prohibited marrying outside caste. Later on, Brahmins stopped dispersal of knowledge but retained power associated to exploit society for centuries, Placing Shudras at the bottom rung, took away their emotions, courage to oppose, made them cowards and suppressed them, for all times to come. Even today raising their voice for their human rights gets a violent reply from the exploiters. Caste system says society is made up of unequals, but our constitution says everyone is equal, two contradictory outlooks. What the constitution says has to be override all other views, hence caste system should go.

Evolution took place from hydrogen atoms, through a number of reactions, to have our universe, earth, man and made us reach the present state. All these reactions took place on their own and continue to take place even now. Together these reactions may be called God, which has no form but has been making the universe work on its own. It is this God we should go for in our belief by giving it an image from our belief.

This book will make every reader more analytical and adopt a scientific outlook, so as to be a rational individual, making superstitions wither away. Scientific thinking will create ripples in philosophical history forcing us to correct ourselves. I ask every reader to adopt one God and forget the caste system in any form.
