Mr. A.S. Panchapakesa Iyer, the author of GANAMRUTHA BODHINI is the Principal af. the Rasika Ranjani Sabha Music School and has considerable experience in teaching in that Institution. "GANAMRUTHA. Bodhini" is a work intended to be used by beginners, in the study of "LAKSHANA SANGEETHA". It contains: the "Swaravali varisaigal, Alamkaras, Githas and Swara jabs" The book is bound to be useful for those who study music orthodox lines.

Preface
Some years ago music education was not widespread, where-ever we see it is music filled every home. People are seen learning or desiring to learn music. The root cause for all this is the publishing of books for easy universal understanding of. Sangeetha sastras, methods of music teaching and writing songs with notation by Sangeetha Vidwans like Professor Shri P. Sambamoorthy, Shri K.V. Srinivasa Iyengar: Following them with the past eleven years of experience of teaching in Mylapore Rasika Ranjani Sabha Music School, I have complied this book for easy learning by music students of lessons from Saptha Swaras progressively upto Swarajathis and notes. I express my humble regards and hearty thanks to Sangeetha Kalanidhi Shri. T.L. Venkatarama Iyer for his foreword, to Sangeetha Vidwan Professor Shri P. Sambamoorthy, Sangeetha Vidwan Alathur Shri V. Venkatesa Iyer, and Shri N. Natesa Iyer, Hon. Secretary R.R. Sabha for their commendation of this book. I am obliged for ever to office bearers of Rasika Ranjani Sabha for encouraging me to write this book.
