During the eight years that followed my writing of Japa Affirmations, I had the opportunity to facilitate many Japa Retreats, including higher-level retreats. With the development of more lessons, new affirmations were becoming apparent. However, I never thought of writing another affirmations book since the first book seemed to have been sufficient in transforming devotees japa. However, in the process of deepening my under-standing and practice of japa, more realizations blossomed. As I shared new lessons, I got to witness how devotees were benefiting from them in unique ways.
This was weighing on my mind because I knew more affirmations could come out of this, and these affirmations would be quite beneficial. But as I mentioned above, I never considered writing another Japa Affirmations book. One day, while reviewing all the teachings of my "Japa Retreat - Level Three" to prepare a follow-up to the course, I decided that these principles, practices and lessons are too valuable to keep hidden from the devotees who are unable to attend my retreats.
So, on Janmastami (after finishing a Japa Workshop the previous day), I was so inspired that I sat down to start this book. Since everything I wanted to say had been in my mind for years, the words just flowed out of me and the entire book manifested itself in five hours. I am happy that I am able to offer you another 20 japa affirmations.
My affirmations books take the essence of my courses and put them into affirmations. Affirmations bypass the intellect and go straight to the heart where they are realized and felt, and thus more easily practiced. I am confident that this little book will inspire your chanting further, taking you to a sweeter and deeper connection with the holy name.
