About the Book The Avatar, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, is the greatest gift I could have been blessed with. For the last forty-five years, Swami, as I call Him, has filled me with His unconditional Love, even as He brought meaning to my life with His Wisdom & Teaching, His Guidance & Work, His Presence & Energy. I was twelve when He first blessed me with His Darshan. The inexplicable magnetic attraction to be with Him grew through my school, college, Post-Graduate and career years. Everything in this world seemed like tinsel, and there was also a gnawing desire in my heart to be in His proximity and to be part of His Work. The Loving Master responded graciously and the last twenty two years have been a continuing journey from 'T' to 'We' to 'He'. The Author has served in Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Medical Trust, Book Trust, Sri Sathya Sai Bhaktha Sahayak Sangh and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield from 1991 till date as In charge of Finance & Accounts. He did his honours in B.Sc Chemistry, Delhi University before going on to complete his Chartered accountancy course in 1979. Before joining Swami's institutions, He worked as Manager Finance & Accounts HMT (International) Limited from 1979-1990. He had his first Darshan of Swami in 1967 in Brindavan, Whitefield and in Prashanthi Nilayam in 1970.

I was twelve when He first blessed me with His Darshan. The inexplicable magnetic attraction to be with Him grew through my school, college, Post-Graduate and career years. Everything in this world seemed like tinsel, and there was also a gnawing desire in my heart to be in His proximity and to be part of His Work. The Loving Master responded graciously... He directed the course of my academic life for the task He had planned for me in His Mission. He denied Me His Darshan by posting me far from India till I realized how my life was being wasted if it were not spent in the presence of the Avatar. He gave me various opportunities in His Institution but reminded me that the real purpose of my being there was for His Darshan, Sparshan and Sambhaashan. Through all this, He always brought me the lessons I needed to imbibe for my real growth, the journey from 'T' to 'We' to 'He'. Swami, the Indwelling Guru, directed me to reflect & search within for the real significance of events in my life, and especially the moments spent with Him.
