I express my deep sense of gratitude to all those people who have directly or indirectly helped me the past three decades in my pursuit of the subject "Pannalal Ghosh". All their contributions, big and small, were equally important and I do not have the heart to omit mentioning any of their names.

At the outset. I offer my humble respects to the Gurus whose guiding spirit has made me what I am in music today, viz. late Pt. Shreepat Shastri (disciple of Ustad Faiyaz Khan of Agra-Rangeela tradition) and late Smt. Suman Shastri, Smit. Nalini Rokade (Pt. Meera Kamad. Though I never had the good fortune to see Pannababu and Parul-jt alive; I firmly believe that their blessings are with me forever.
