Introduction
Vaastushastra is an age-old science. First reference to it could be traced around ten thousand years back. Great ascetic maharshis like Bhrugu, Atri and Vasishtha are the founders of this science. In Jain philosophy many aagams are devoted to this science. Origin of Vaastushastra can be understood by understanding the cosmic form called Shivlingakruti. This cosmic symbol showers peace, prosperity and bliss, that is, Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram. As a matter of form and as a matter of energy, it completely follows the tenets of Vaastushastra. Elements of Vaastushastra are related to 8 directions, 5 great elements and energy streams. Every human being is comprised of the 5 great elements. Nature is also controlled by the same 5 great elements; hence, if a house can cultivate a positive relationship between human beings and nature then it's a perfect home. The rules of Vaastushastra regulate the relationship between nature and individual by regulating the personal and cosmic breath
