Preface

Sahasra Mahavaastu is a revolutionary movement in the S field of Vaastushastra, to propagate the ancient oriental thought in the modern language of the present world. With due attention to the practical need of the present age, the connectivity of Vaastu, Yog, jyotish, sangeet and Ayurveda have been discussed by using scientific language of the current generation. Grah, tattva, devata, disha and urja are 5 dimensions connected to these five shastras, but its reflection in the traditional vaastu sutras is quite different. In this book I have attempted to clarify and explain it in an easy and simple language, to try and tune the modern mind to an ancient thought. Mystica, Medica and Magica are the three secret and sacred doctrines which are connected to ancient Indian shastras. For the first time in the history of mankind, cycles of time and vibrations of directions are simulated together to search and invent the concept of eventology. Astrologically, planets play an important role as regards the events in the life of human beings. As regards the strength of the event, five great elements play an important role. The whole world of Puranas is connected to deitism, whereas the comprehensive outlook of Vedas and Upanishads is connected to five great elements. Direction is such a dimension which is popularly referred in the Puranas, Upanishads and Vedas but with different concepts. As regards energy there are hundreds of different versions in the 5 great shastras viz., Vaastu, Yog, jyotish, sangeet, and Ayurveda. The terms, symbols, concepts regarding grah, tattva, devata, disha, urja apparently look different in each shastra. Even sometimes one finds them quite antagonistic in the application of these five sciences. Cosmic, Gross, Subtle are the three different words, when used for the same element. They may lead to confusion, if the esoteric unified thread of truth is not traced properly. All these aspects and factors, since misunderstood, lead to the word mystica, which is not a fact. According to me, a person using the word mystic in relation to himself or the shastras, is definitely trying to deceive and people should beware of this fact. One who is unintelligent, impure and deceitful tends to use the word mystica. To clarify this concept of mystic, I have already used this word in my second book-Mystic Science of Vaastu. The thought given by ancient Shastras is clear, clean and scientific, and when it is not understood then one uses the word mystic. The same thing is true regarding the word magica. When one is not able to understand the subtle play of grah, tattva, devata, disha and urja one tends to say that magic has happened in my life, but the fact differs. In this book I have tried to clarify the scientific approach of Indian shastras in connectivity with the five dimensions of grah, tattva, devata, disha and urja.
