You will find the answers to all the intriguing questions and secrets about Lord Ganesha's life in this book. It also includes special prayers that can be offered to Lord Ganesha to attain his blessings.

Introduction
Ganesha is arguably one of the most loved and revered personalities in the Vedic pantheon. He has many names that point out to his different aspects. The word Ganesha comes from the two root words, Gana and isha. Gana means people and isha means the Lord. Thus, Ganesha literally means Lord of the people. But the word Gana refers to both the common man as well as the Ganas or the hobgoblin disciples of Lord Shiva. Ganapati also refers to the same thing, the master of the Ganas. He is also called Vighna Vinashaka or Vighnaharta. Vighna means obstacles. Vinashaka means destroyer and Harta means the one who steals away.
