Book Description
About The Book

A man was walking pensive and alone, saying to himself: "I have walked many paths of life and I wanted to conquer many things. I won and lost; I experienced a lot of pain because I constantly tripped on the obstacles that I came across. I am tired, I do not wish to walk anymore without knowing the ultimate purpose, where I am finally going". A stranger passing by heard his monologue, looked at him and said:

"You don't have to go anywhere else, you have already reached your destination. The paths of knowledge and ignorance that you took lead you now to the final end of your course, to your own self.

Delve into your being, and then you will understand that everything you gained and lost begin and end within you. Embrace the world with your soul, unite with what you have lived until now and you will realise that you lack nothing, because everything around you is a part of you".

Foreword

Dear Reader,

It is most likely that we do not know each other, that we have never met. But by reading through the pages of this book, you will be able to get to know some parts of myself, while I will probably never learn anything about you. Whatever concerns you is unknown to me - your gender, your age, your family, your interests. I do not know if your knowledge and your experiences in life are more than my own, or if you are taking your first steps to gain them. However, my not knowing who you are does not diminish my need to address you.

The need that motivates some people to become writers, poets, litterateurs has been sought for by they themselves, as well as by other people. The outcome of this quest is that on the one hand, the writers' motives differ from one to another, and on the other hand, each writer's motives may vary from time to time. Therefore, one might write mostly about themselves because they simply want to externalise their ideas and emotions. Their work as writers may also come from their desire to convey certain messages to the readers.

There is also the possibility that a poet does not think at all about the reason they write and what the purpose of their work is. In this case, the power of the Muse that inspires them is so strong, that the only thing they can do is to materialise it immediately, without any thoughts or speculations.

If we deepen into these insights about the motives of a person who applies themselves to a literary work, we will see that they are all correct. Besides, the motives behind every human achievement are similar. The need to express themselves and communicate with others is not only a litterateur's trait. This need is common to all people. And for it to be common, everyone must be inspired by some kind of "Muse", by some kind of known or unknown power that directs their minds and hearts.

A work of power is motherhood and fatherhood that makes people parents. The work of the same power is what makes people architects or builders, scientists or businessmen, political leaders or citizens. Whatever the work of each person may be, small or big, complex or simple, only one is the source of their power - the love for life. The different roads that we all follow to exist, to love, to get to know ourselves and the world around us, to do the work that life itself demands from us and which is nothing more than to actualise with our whole being the passion that it gives us, the strength and the will for action, for union, for the development of our conscious-ness, all begin from love.

If you and I, Reader, had personally met, we would be able to say that we are not strangers. In this case, we would know some of the particular characteristics of one another, possibly even some events of each other's lives or some of each other's ideas and opinions.
