Introduction
This is a plam-leaf manuscript preserved in the Orissa State Museum bearing the catalogue No. L/515. This contains the copies of the following works-(1) कमलिनीकलहंसीनाटिका, (2) चम्पूरामायणम् and (3) उत्साहवतीरूपकम But the last work remains in-complete, the writing ending abruptly after the 65th verse. Only 4 folia have been fully utilised for the writing of the Utsähavati-rūpakam. On the 5th folio, there is only one line. Each side of every folio contains six lines, each line containing 87 letters on an average. The size of each folio in the manuscript is 37°4 ems cms. It was purchased from Sri K. K. Sharma of Berhampur, District Ganjam, Orissa on 29.5.71. -This is a paper manuscript (No. Sms/8) preserved in the Manuscript Section of the Orissa State Museum. This manuscript in Oriya script containing the complete text of the Utsähavati-rūpakam in 27 pages is recorded to have been purchased from Sri Damodar Dash of Bhubanswer. This is a corrupt manuscript very often offering misleading readings.
