The Goddess of music and literature sits on a kamalasana (lotus shaped throne) in the lalitasana posture. We can have a divine view of the four handed form of the Goddess. Shri Saraswati Devi holds a Veena in her upper left hand and the the other side of the veena rests on her lap which symbolizes the two worlds of Knowledge and art simultaneously . Goddess is blessing her devotees from her lower right hand in a Gyan Mudra, left hand can be seen in the Vitarka Mudra and in her upper right hand we can see that she is holding one of her Ayudha (implement).
The deity of melody here wears a traditional saree and looks well decorated in a South Indian crown filled with jewels. On her wide forehead she wears a round tilak and her eyebrows display her melodious nature. She also wears a good set of necklaces and jewellery all over her divine transcendental form.
