This cream coloured bed cover in pure cotton is block printed with the animal the Rajasthanis are most familiar with. The field has an overall chippa of the tropical flora and fauna; birds, animals, flowers all vie with each other for space. On top of this base are metrically arranged herds of camels. They are so placed as to form a pyramidal shape. The camels are in their natural colour with a sturdy black outline. The wide border consists of a double band of camels big and small, following each other. These two bands are individually enclosed within narrower borders with geometric patterns. The brick red sturdy line in the middle of this geometric design is the only bright spot in the otherwise muted colours used here.
All in all, this is a very sober sheet, nothing is loud about it, neither colour nor pattern. A typically Jaipur block printed sheet, with the obvious, not to be missed reminder, in the form of camels.
