This unique miniature painting uses artistic strength and imagination to condense into a few panels the whole narrative scenario. There are four panels in the upper part containing portraits of various unidentified kings, enclosed in circular patterns divided by arabesque border alternately in Persian blue and rose colors. Postures of the men are more or less the same as is the background. The floor colors and patterns vary in order to break the continuity and also to compliment the border color. The lower single panel has its own different theme. It speaks of a procession, with saddled and adorned horses carrying expensive gifts. Richly caprisoned elephants and oxen have an enclosed seating area, exclusively for the 'zenana' or the females who were required to observe purdah. The king on the preceding elephant has an aura around him, thus singling him out.

In this painting with its bright balanced colors, the artist has populated every inch of the small space available to him with handsome human figures. They are attired in jamas, qamarbands and turbans depicting their association with the royal court. They seem relaxed.

The green flora in the foreground is merely decorative. The sky is yellow, at the upper edge of which are curly clouds. The landscape though is used for a dimensional effect.

On two vertical sides of the lower panel are calligraphic borders which are further enclosed by arabesque border of intricate workmanship on all sides.
