Once when Lord Ganesha visited the Naga Lok to visit Naga Raja Vasuki, there was a tussle between them and Lord Ganesha defeated Vasuki, embarrassing the serpent king's pupil. The followers of Vasuki went to the Sesh Naag to ask for revenge.
