Lakshmi : 4.3 Inch Height x 3 Inch Width x 2.3 Inch Depth

Ganesha : 4.3 Inch Height x 3 Inch Width x 2.3 Inch Depth

Sculpted in brass and embellished with inlay work, this creation represents Goddess Lakshmi, also called “Suchi (The Purest One)”, who is renowned as the Goddess of wealth, good fortune, luxury, and prosperity (both material and spiritual) and Lord Ganesha, who is known as the remover of obstacles, patron of the arts and sciences, and the “Deva” of intellect and wisdom. Seated on the throne, they symbolise prosperity, auspiciousness, and divine blessings.

Once, Goddess Lakshmi became arrogant about her wealth and powers, praising herself and claiming she is the only worthy of worship. Lord Vishnu, however, criticised her for not having children, stating that a woman is incomplete without them. Lakshmi sought help from Goddess Parvati, who allowed her to adopt one of her sons. Lakshmi adopted Ganesha and promised Maa Parvati to care for Ganesha and bestow her with happiness.

To seek blessings, those worshipping Lakshmi for wealth must worship Ganesha, as gaining wealth without intellect leads to misusing it. Therefore, Lakshmi and Ganesha are worshipped together.

A Divine Partnership

In Hindu mythology, Ganesha, the elephant-headed son of Shiva and Parvati, is revered as the god of wisdom, knowledge, and new beginnings. He is invoked at the start of any venture to ensure success and remove any obstacles that may lie in the path. Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu, is the embodiment of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune. She is often depicted seated on a lotus flower, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. The association of Lakshmi and Ganesha is deeply rooted in Hindu tradition. Together, they represent the perfect balance of intellect and prosperity, both essential for a fulfilling and successful life. It is believed that by worshipping both deities together, devotees can attain not only material wealth but also spiritual wisdom and inner peace. The combined presence of Ganesha and Lakshmi in a home is considered highly auspicious, bringing harmony, abundance, and overall well-being.

Craftsmanship and Artistry

This captivating idol is crafted from high-quality brass, ensuring durability and longevity. The brass lends a rich, golden hue that adds to the statue's visual appeal. The meticulous inlay work, featuring meticulously placed stones, adds a touch of vibrancy and elegance. Each stone is carefully selected and set to create a stunning mosaic pattern that enhances the overall beauty of the piece. The throne upon which Lakshmi and Ganesha are seated is itself a work of art, adorned with intricate carvings and details that reflect the skill and dedication of the artisans who created it. The size of this statue makes it versatile for display in various settings, while its presence is undeniably potent, bringing a sense of peace and serenity to any environment. It is more than just a decorative object; it is a symbol of faith, hope, and the promise of a brighter future.
