A Symbol of Prosperity and Light

Enrich your home with a piece that embodies both spiritual significance and artistic beauty. This exquisitely crafted sculpture presents the divine Goddess Lakshmi, revered as the embodiment of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune in Hindu tradition. The warm, golden hue of the brass construction radiates a sense of opulence and grace, making it a captivating addition to any space. Lakshmi is not merely a deity of material wealth; she represents abundance in all its forms – spiritual enlightenment, inner peace, and harmonious relationships. Her presence is believed to bring blessings and remove obstacles, fostering a sense of well-being and contentment. Invite this energy into your home and let it be a constant reminder of the limitless potential for growth and fulfillment that resides within.

Details in Design

The craftsmanship is immediately apparent in the intricate details of the sculpture. Lakshmi is depicted seated on a lotus pedestal, the symbol of purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. Her gentle expression conveys serenity and compassion, reflecting her benevolent nature. Her hands are raised in the gestures of *abhaya* (fearlessness) and *varada* (granting boons), signifying her protection and willingness to bestow blessings upon her devotees. Above the goddess, the brass is fashioned into an elaborate floral and scrollwork design, adding to the overall grandeur and visual appeal. Below the Goddess Lakshmi is space for a lamp to be placed. Flanking the central figure are two small, delicate bells. These bells serve not only as decorative elements but also as ritual tools. The ringing of bells is considered auspicious, used to purify the environment and invoke divine presence. The gentle chime of the bells creates a soothing and harmonious atmosphere.

A Timeless Addition to Your Sacred Space

More than just an object of art, this is a powerful symbol of faith and devotion. Hang it in your puja room, living room, or any space where you seek to cultivate a sense of peace, prosperity, and spiritual connection. The warm glow from the lamp will illuminate the form of the Goddess Lakshmi, creating a serene and uplifting ambiance. Let this sculpture be a reminder of the divine feminine energy that resides within us all, inspiring us to embrace abundance, cultivate compassion, and strive for inner harmony. It is a timeless piece that will be cherished for generations to come, a beautiful expression of faith and a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Hinduism.

How to keep a Brass statue well-maintained?

Brass statues are known and appreciated for their exquisite beauty and luster. The brilliant bright gold appearance of Brass makes it appropriate for casting aesthetic statues and sculptures. Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Due to these properties, Brass statues and sculptures can be kept both indoors as well as outdoors. They also last for many decades without losing all their natural shine.

Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.

  • The best and simplest way to maintain a brass statue is to clean it at least twice a week using a soft cloth or cotton rag. This will prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. Dusting is especially important for outdoor statues since it is prone to dust accumulation much more than indoors.

  • To give a natural shine and luster to the statue, you may apply coconut or olive oil using cotton on every portion. You can use a toothbrush to get to the small crevices but do not be too harsh. This will make the brass statue appear fresh and new with a polished look.

  • In case you have a colored brass statue, you may apply mustard oil using a soft brush or clean cloth on the brass portion while for the colored portion of the statue, you may use coconut oil with a cotton cloth.

Brass idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are especially known for their intricate and detailed work of art. Nepalese sculptures are famous for small brass idols portraying Buddhist deities. These sculptures are beautified with gold gilding and inlay of precious or semi-precious stones. Religious brass statues can be kept at home altars. You can keep a decorative brass statue in your garden or roof to embellish the area and fill it with divinity.
