Sacred Geometry in Miniature

Delve into the profound symbolism and power of the Shri Yantra with this meticulously crafted piece. This miniature representation, fashioned from brass, serves as a potent visual aid for meditation, a focal point for devotional practice, and a beautiful embodiment of cosmic harmony. Its compact size allows for easy placement in your sacred space, on your altar, or even as a personal talisman.

The Cosmic Diagram

The Shri Yantra is more than just a geometric pattern; it is a complex, multi-layered symbol representing the cosmos, the human body, and the divine feminine principle, Shakti. Its nine interlocking triangles are arranged to form 43 smaller triangles, each associated with a specific deity or aspect of consciousness. Four of these triangles point upwards, representing Shiva, the masculine principle of consciousness, while five point downwards, representing Shakti, the feminine creative force. The interlacing of these triangles symbolizes the union of Shiva and Shakti, the source of all creation and the ultimate goal of spiritual practice.

The Story of Creation

According to ancient Vedic texts, the Shri Yantra emerged from the primordial sound "Om." It is believed to be the visual manifestation of this sacred vibration, a map of the cosmos as it unfolds from the unmanifest to the manifest. Legend has it that the Shri Yantra was first revealed to the sage Durvasa, a powerful and enigmatic figure known for his intense devotion and occasional bursts of anger. Durvasa is said to have understood the Yantra's immense power and potential for both creation and destruction. The careful construction and proper veneration of the Shri Yantra are therefore essential to harness its energy in a positive and beneficial way.

Brass: A Metal of Divinity

The use of brass in the creation of this piece is significant. In many cultures, brass is associated with prosperity, abundance, and spiritual power. It is believed to attract positive energy and ward off negative influences. The golden hue of the brass reflects the radiance of the divine and adds to the Yantra's aesthetic appeal and energetic potency. Measuring approximately 1.7 x 2.8 x 2.8 inches, it is an ideal size for personal altars and travel.
