The body of the sari is in a golden color with a shine of the silk. The two ends of the body have a combination of orange and red shades with printed wave like design. The border of the sari, which is on both sides, has small golden prints that give the semblance of a zari border. The pallav is on a contrasting maroon background with small prints in white color, giving it the rich Patola look.
