Tissue saris are very light and an absolute delight for a formal wears. The texture is wafer thin and hence makes for comfortable wear. This tissue sari comes in a double shade of green and biscuit color. The print on the sari is also in double shade and forms a beautiful rose pattern that seems almost like a self-design. The border is simple.

The pallav of the sari is elaborate with lot of decorated elephants that are so much part of the temple tradition of India. Also there are large leaf patterns with floral and creeper patterns. The entire sari is printed and there are no weaves. This description by Bhanupriya Krutiventi.
