This is a very elegant handloom dress that is entirely woven in the south cotton style. The texture is a very smooth cotton and looks very beautiful when crisply starched. South cottons are the traditional weaves of south India, woven in the Kanjeevaram style but in soft cottons, rather than silks. They re beautiful weaves with traditional borders
This dress is also one of the traditional south cotton weaves. The kameez comes in a lovely green color with a slender vertical weave in mustard color adding contrast to the dress. From the neck extending to the yoke is stitched a broad woven border. This border is woven in biscuit color threads and has the traditional small temple border motifs of the Kanjeevaram style.
The salwar is in the same pattern as the kameez with green and mustard color weave. The dupatta is in green with the broad border as on the kameez and tassels on the end.
