The field is sparsely sprayed with botches. A chequered pattern occupies each corner of the shawl and the squares filled in with floral decorations. The checked patterns end with a diagonal row of butis, similar to the ones on the field. A narrow border with a running stem with tiny flowers run on all four sides of the shawl. The two edges have a frill of chinar leaves attached to the border. The orange, golden and green brighten the whole effect.
The craftsmen seem to be in tune with the changing fashions and demands and design the pattern and colours accordingly. This shawl shows type of craftsmanship. Used with a contrasting bold colour of a garment, this shawl could dazzle the ones around you!
