Nitya Chaitanya Yati

Indian philosopher and spiritual leader Nitya Chaitanya Yati studied under renowned Advaita Vedanta master Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati. He also started the Chinmaya Mission in India's Andhra Pradesh.

Brilliant student Nitya Chaitanya Yati graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, with an engineering degree. However, he had a strong need for spiritual fulfilment and was dissatisfied with a worldly lifestyle.

The study and propagation of Vedanta philosophy, a significant school of Hindu thought that emphasises the non-dual character of reality, were Nitya Chaitanya Yati's life's work. He made a lot of trips to India and other countries, where he gave Vedanta lectures and led seminars. He established the Vedanta and spiritual education-focused Chinmaya Mission in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Since then, the mission has expanded to become a significant organisation with offices both domestically and overseas.

Numerous publications on Vedanta philosophy were written by Nitya Chaitanya Yati, including "The Value of Values" and "Meditation and Life." Although he passed away in 1999, his teachings are still inspirational and helpful to spiritual seekers all over the world.
