Tobdan (1944) belongs to Lahul. He is interested mainly in the study of Lahul in Himachal in the Western Himalayas, in respect of its history, languages, culture, etc. Incidentally, he has been studying the surrounding areas of Kullu, Kinnaur, Spiti, Zanskar, etc. on the same subjects.
