Every gift is a symbol of devotion and marks the faith they have in Lord Ram. While some have been crafted by hand, some have been procured from the remotest corners of the world. But all of them have required great effort from devotees.

Gifts From All Around

Offerings have been pouring from all over the country for Ram Lalla as the date of the inauguration ceremony nears.

🌀 These include 3 thousand quintals of rice from Chandkhuri in Chhattisgarh, which is believed to be the home of Lord Ram’s maternal grandparents along with jewelry, clothes, fruits, 51 types of sweets, and 1100 plates of food from the city of his in-laws i.e Janakpur in Nepal.

🌀 Shaligram rocks have also been sent by Nepal. These rocks are of great importance because they are said to be a form of Lord Vishnu, and Lord Ram is also considered to be an avatar of his.

🌀 Water from 115 countries spread across all 7 continents has been collected and will be presented to the temple at Ayodhya. This will be used at the consecration ceremony. This gesture holds importance because when Lord Ram became a king water from all the oceans of the world was brought at his coronation ceremony.

🌀 The Mahavir Trust in Patna, Bihar will be sending a bow and arrow made of pure gold. The worth of this bow and arrow is 5 lakhs. Along with this divine gift the trust will also be sending Rs 2 crore. It has already sent 8 crore so far, which is part of its 10 crore worth contribution to the construction of the temple.

🌀 The largest lock in the world is being sent from Aligarh. It weighs 400 kg and is entirely made by hand. The estimated worth of this lock is 2 lakhs. It has been made by Satya Prakash Sharma, a locksmith based in Aligarh, and is 10 feet in height. It has a width of 4.6 feet and a thickness of 9.5 inches. A picture of Lord Ram has also been attached to it.
🌀 A clock has also been presented to the temple by a vegetable vendor named Anil Kumar Sahu. The special thing about this clock is that it shows time from eight cities - UAE, Japan, Russia, China, Singapore, Mexico, and USA. The clock is a very thoughtful gift to the Ram Mandir and measures 75 cm in diameter.

🌀 A necklace crafted on the theme of the Ram Mandir has also been presented. It has been created from 2 kg silver and 5000 American diamonds. The gift has been sent by a Surat based diamond merchant. The pivotal characters from Ramayana have been carved on the necklace, which is nothing less than a symbol of exquisite craftsmanship. It took 35 days to complete the work on this necklace, and it is a product of the effort of 40 artisans.

Conclusion

From donations to food, from jewelry to clothes, gifts for Lord Ram are magnificent and special in every way. These gifts are labors of days and have been created out of a lot of dedication and concentration. These gifts show how much the construction and inauguration of the Ram Mandir means to people.
