Introduction
Here "Indriya" means "Prana" and the sign that indicate its end is known as "Indriya" or "Rista." So the whole section that deal with Indriya, is Indriyasthana.
what is prana- Its means life and opposite is death. Actually body is nothing after death that's why prodromal symptoms of death is important for protection of life. So these symptoms are called as ARISTA. Chraka described it in Indiyasthana. In general, This sthana has uniqueness because there is no proper treatment in Arista condition. In Charaka Samhita, there are 12 chapters in indriya sthana. Here we will see the comments and modern view of each chapter.
