This fourth work of the author is chained with his previous books
on cultural religious and aesthetics studies line. It was about to publish
in Dec 2010 but somehow went otherwise after peer reviewing for
cancellation by official reason. I humbly thank Rupa & Co., for freeing
me to work my own on this publication. Thence some considerable
changes were made adding a new chapter to this book. Of course, I
humbly value those peer-reviewers and solemnly belong to that
convention. But penitently it is inconvenient to admit in our home-
grown caucus to all. And would be absurd to repeat Nepalese soul but
a short rejoinder will state this five years long envisioning this book.
And, its objective was not just to translate the text into traditional
character like propagating apparatus. Nor it seeks just to narrate the
festival events as the cultural thesis. Instead it analyses the source of
cultural and aesthetic motifs on Durga perspective in Nepala-Mandala.
Since, this book is self-motivated and self-sponsored for indigenous
impetus with limited resources, but aware in cultural preservation and
conservation 0 four aesthetic esteem which might have skipped from
our vestibules of contemporary knowledge, if not yet been recorded
properly. Those intangible insights are due to lack of resources and
limitation not yet been accomplished by a single-hand knowledge. But
I have tried my level best to justify those estimable sacred attributes on
this cultural study.
