It is often said that philosophy discusses abstract things which are divorced from reality. But at the same time we must explore that philosophical thought can meaningfully address many intriguing questions and issues. Thus, the present book considers so many interesting topics covering a long range:
from morality to private and public morality, the question of suicide, euthanasia and the right to life;
from the purusartha of Indian philosophy to the philosophy of Radhakrishnan to Vivekananda's concepts of Atman and mukti to Aurobindo's views on education to Amartya Sen's recent book, The Argumentative Indian,
the issues of Western philosophy such as analytic a posteriori to Russell's logical atomism to predicate logic,
and contemporary concerns like copy paste culture, environment and culture as well as postmodernism.
