Revered Sri Guruji was the Sar Sanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for thirty three years.
His was a life saintly and pure, with no respite, full of rare wit and wisdom. His was a leadership, relent-less and bold with a will to win, endowed with deep insight and holistic foresight. No surprise, his love and affection held sway over millions of hearts of our countrymen.
Twelve volumes containing Sri Guruji's speeches, writings, conversations and letters have already been brought out. Naturally they cover many subjects, some of them of contemporary relevance and some others with all time relevance. Time never stands still and circumstances do change. But thoughts of eternal values have relevance all through. They are ever sought for as and when occasion arises and in turn they give right guidance providing right solution. With this belief a small team of capable hands joined together to gather such abiding thoughts of Sri Guruji from the aforesaid volumes and this anthology is the result.
These thoughts are not merely verbal expressions of Sri Guruji. They are, in fact, the insights of his very life, those that he had assimilated into his very being tenaciously pondering over and striving hard. Verily because of that, each one of them has in it inherent potency to mould any individual into an idealist sur-charged with a divine inspiration and push.
Sri Guruji's thoughts are for the well-being of humanity. They are the wholesome expressions to suit the times. Much beyond, they are also the basic principles of Truth and Dharma, ever acceptable life-vision for the entire world. For any idealist this shall be a travel-kit. Going through this collection, heart and soul, one shall be able to successfully tread and go ahead over the path of Sri Guruji - a path of unreserved and unalloyed dedication to the Nation.
As mentioned earlier, this Madhav Gita is the fruit of the labours of the team, all good workers of Sangh. Words fail to congratulate them and thank them. At the same time belief is strong in my heart that the personal possession of this collection and also the reading of it will go a long way to develop our idealistic life sound, strong and worthy.
