Q1. Which Indian language has the most literature?

It is believed that literature in the Kannada language started centuries earlier. Most of the Kannada literary works are based on the principles of Hinduism or commentaries upon Vedic literature such as Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita. These works have been able to reach readers from all types of social classes over the decades.

Q2. Which is the oldest book of Indian literature?

Indian literature is considered the most influential and earliest among all the literary works. The oldest works of Indian literature date back to 5,000 years. These were orally transmitted in the Sanskrit language and were later compiled by Srila Vyasadev which is known as the VedasThe Vedas were then passed down through bona fide disciplic succession. Among the four main Vedas, the Rig Veda is considered the oldest book comprising texts or verses recited in various ceremonies and sacrifices.
