Bhanu Swami has been actively preaching and instructing the Bhakti Yoga philosophy found in India's ancient Vedic scriptures. He has made significant trips abroad, giving talks, running seminars, and directing retreats on the subjects of enlightenment, yoga, and meditation.
His many writings on spirituality include "Krsna: The Supreme Personality of Godhead," "Narada Bhakti Sutra," and "Bhagavad Gita: Its Essence and Compilation." He is a prolific writer. The teachings of Bhanu Swami place a strong emphasis on developing a close relationship with God through the practise of Bhakti Yoga, which include devotion, service, and chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra.
Bhanu Swami has also held a number of leadership roles within ISKCON, including that of the president of the temple in Mumbai, India, and a member of the Governing Body Commission, the organization's top administrative body.
