Hindu saint Swami Ramsukhdas was a respected scholar and spiritual guide. The majority of his life was spent in the holy city of Vrindavan, where he founded the Radha Govind Samiti ashram. He was born in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Swami Ramsukhdas dedicated his life to sharing the Bhagavad Gita's teachings with others after becoming greatly affected by them. He authored a number of volumes on the Gita, including the well-known Hindi commentary "Sadhak Sanjivani," which has been translated into a number of other languages.
The significance of spiritual practise and self-discipline in reaching inner tranquilly and enlightenment was stressed by Swami Ramsukhdas. He also emphasised the importance of serving others as a way to show love to God. Despite his spiritual prowess, Swami Ramsukhdas led a straightforward and modest life and was approachable to everyone who sought his counsel. His teachings have inspired people all around the world, and he was highly regarded and adored as a spiritual teacher.
