PREFACE

The decades-long reign of successive governments dominated by the rich and elite, as well known, have cruelly side-lined the average people of India in every respect, although in the meantime made themselves superpowers in everything! It is a pity that the country of 5000 long years of history with a great civilization and culture today remains isolated in the world on almost all fronts of development, and for achieving $1 a day target for its average masses something which the developed countries had achieved 200 years ago - it still has to start from the scratch.

'PEOPLE'S INDIA: A SUPERPOWER' is a practical attempt to build up a mighty nation through the collective efforts of her finely integrated people, where they can successfully realize their mental, physical, spiritual and intellectual powers. Although we are known as one of the worst corrupt, yet this work explores so many silver linings within, on which we can really build up a new nation (i.e., (a) the unique secular culture, as has been widely practised everywhere for centuries together by our own illiterate, ignorant and poor masses, who form the brute majority. (b) the unique way of electing and throwing away many a government alternatively, manifesting a "collective will/ craving for change" by the same illiterate and ignorant masses, which indirectly signals an urge to live in truth, peace and prosperity, but in the meantime seeking astray in their everyday lives; (c) the Kargil, (even Orissa or Gujarat tragedies) episode, where the entire nation, sinking its traditional narrow differences, rose as a united force, as if one with a single body and soul, manifesting the WILL to stand firmly to face any challenges).

Taking cues from Swiss Cantons, from our Village Panchayat System, as well as from the working styles of various NGOs, this book suggests practical ways of a novel collective living for our entire people. The all. Our emphasis is on group integration and group economic activities (with self-set objectives and self-imposed punishment for genuine failures), gradually expanding to bigger integration with bigger homogeneous/ heterogeneous groups, in turn, bringing about greater prosperity and development in every nook and corner of the country. Mere capacity to daydream wildly, where even empty hands but driven by an enthusiastic, earnest WILL is treated as an asset, is the salient feature of this system.
