India has changed a lot in the last Seventy-Five years and it continues to change even today. But all change is not development. Women, youth and children are facing tremendous social pressure. Atrocities against Women, Harijans SC, ST, OBC and Weaker Sections are not on the decline. Youth are becoming more and more frustrated and taking to agitations. Communalism is on the upsurge. Poverty and unemployment despite the reassuring promises of the early governments, it continues to increase. Crunch of resources due to over burden of rising population.
It is time to analyze and understand the nature and magnitude of this social problem.
