We shall not budge from these convictions then overnight we shall find a change over in out situation.

Chinmaya Yuva Kendra the youth wing of Chinmaya mission the meeting place for all young minds with an urge to contribute to India. The objective of CHYK is to provide opportunities to effectively harness the energy enthusiasm and dynamism of youth through the study of Vedantic texts and activities in the fields of spiritual awakening social service, education and promotion of international harmony.

To awaken out men and women is the first step towards progress. We must realize that we as Indians are not deprived of intelligence or glory of the country. Simply we are not aware of out greatness which in the cause of all troubles. Progress comes from confidence which is rooted in the pride born out of knowledge. Gurudev Swami Chanmayananada made us realize this fact.

Swamiji who was and is our source of inspiration had asked all the youth to work for the country. We the members of CHYK were inspired by his vision which is encapsulated in one of his most powerful talks on rebuilding our nation which he delivered a decade ago. The excerpts of the same are given below to share our source of inspiration with all of you. To quote Swamiji.

Can we inspire the necessary heroism in the hearts of all and the necessary muscle in the Indian body politic? We need inspired youth in small groups with vigour and determination demonstration to the world the vision of a united awakened Indian nation.

It has been the tradition in the world that people come together in a spirit of co-operation only in the political and economic fields but never in the social revival nurtured by a purely selfless sense of reverence to the past. But that must change now and make all Indians work with the clear understanding of the goal National renaissance. Will the Indian youth came forward to suffer and strive in order to rebuild their nation?

Well that was out inspiration our attempts are to make all Indian youth raise their heads and look at the history of our great nation. May we all get awakened to the glory of India look ahead with the past unsurpassable glory.
