At first sight this shawl looks rich by virtue of its Indian pink color. It is brilliance in sheer form and nothing disturbs the 'matan' on the field. A narrow border of chinar leaves in orange, turquoise and white forms a distraction from the bright base. On each corner is embroidered a single floral motif in the same colours of the border. It is neither a paisley, nor a variation of it but an attractive flower by itself. Stem stitch using a single satin thread has been used for embroidery of the corners as well as the border. The embroidery is so fine and delicate and seems to have been painted rather than hand embroidered.
Since the colour is brilliant, no bright coloured outfit can match it. It has to be a soft hue or a completely contrasting one e.g. turquoise. Whatever it may be, you are guaranteed to look gorgeous in it.
