Just as the Linga is the energy form of Shiva, the Maha Meru Shri Yantra is the energy form of Maa Parvati.
Place it on Friday in the North-East with the tip of the Meru towards the East at the eyes’ level. The place must be washed ritually chanting the "Aim Hreem Namah" mantra. A yellow cloth or sheet of silver or gold is placed on which Meru is kept. A Shivlinga is also placed near Yantra.
Then some jaggery and yellow flowers are offered chanting its mantra 108 times. Then the yantra is covered with a red cloth. Every Friday offer yellow flowers, etc. and on other days, simply have a glimpse of the Meru by removing the red cloth. Meru Yantra is also buried under the foundation of a house or building, placed in the locker and the cash box.
