In the Hindu science of architecture expounded upon ancient times, every installation inside your home or office plays a significant role. Vastu Shastra misses nothing - layout, spatial measurements and arrangements, geometry, and ground preparation have a lot to do with each and every sculpture you choose.

Each sculpture in this section of the Exotic India website has a multifaceted meaning to add to your interiors. Featuring superb workmanship and flawless adherence to ancient Hindu-Buddhist specifications, you definitely cannot go wrong with Exotic India's Vastu sculptures.

Q1. Which Direction the Vastu Related Products should be Placed and Why?

Vastu-related products in your home are placed according to the results you are seeking and the powers that the Vastu article possesses. Generally, a Vastu-related item is placed in a particular direction to remove Vastu Dosha from the house. For example, a Vastu Pyramid used to balance the energies of the household and decrease negativity is kept in the northeast corner to ensure a blissful environment.

A tortoise is to be placed in the north or northwest corner of the home to bring joyous vibrations into the lives of all residents. Similarly, the Sri Yantra is advised to be placed in the north or northeast corner, if possible, near a Shiva Lingam to make the most of its benefits.

Q2. Which animal is good for Vastu?

According to Vastu, cats, dogs, fishes, turtles, rabbits, frogs, cows, and buffalo are the best animals to be kept as pets as they bring positivity and good energy to the house.

Rabbits: They provide great luck and attract beneficial energies to the home, known to help people with thyroid problems.

Dogs: a sign of devotion and protection, they should be kept in an enclosed area that faces the north direction.

Keeping a cat, rabbit, or bird will enhance the positivity in the South East, ensure the health of the female members of the family, and bring home money, prosperity, and fortune.

The elephant: is a powerful symbol of good luck and wealth in India.

Q3. Can we keep a bull statue at home?

Bulls are known as a sign of a positive force of good luck, love, fertility, and good health to wealth. Many of its body parts, especially the tail, foot and hide, are also symbolic of special powers, fertility, sacrifice, chastity, and patience. In the zodiac, the sign of Taurus represents the sun and the spring.

It is placed in the South-East corner for Wealth accumulation as it is the direction of Wealth in Feng-Shui. It can also be placed in the North for Money flow. Nandi, which means “giving delight”, is the sacred bull of the Hindu god Shiva. Nandi is Shiva's means of transportation and his most ardent worshiper. Nandi should always face north (Lord Shiva).

Q4. What is Maha Meru?

‘Shri Yantra’ or ‘Maha Meru’ denotes an instrument for extreme Health, Wealth, and Harmony. Shri Yantra, often called Shri Chakra is the mother of all Yantras. Meru is the three-dimensional form of Shri yantra and is the most powerful among all the yantras. Shri Yantra represents the whole of universal energy (every living and nonliving).

It comprises the divinity of maa Lalita Tripura Sundari, goddess Mahasarasvati, Mahalakshmi, Mahakali, Lord Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, eight forms of lord shiva and their consorts, ten suns, ten Mahavidhyas, ten avatars of Lord Vishnu, Mata Bhuvneshwari, sixteen nityas, sixty-four yoginis, and all the Devi and Devta. Just as the Linga is the energy form of Shiva, the Maha Meru Shri Yantra is the energy form of Maa Parvati.

Q5. Where to Place Maha Meru and How to Use It?

Place it on Friday in the North-East with the tip of the Meru towards the East at the eyes’ level. The place must be washed ritually chanting the "Aim Hreem Namah" mantra. A yellow cloth or sheet of silver or gold is placed on which Meru is kept. A Shivlinga is also placed near Yantra.

Then some jaggery and yellow flowers are offered chanting its mantra 108 times. Then the yantra is covered with a red cloth. Every Friday offer yellow flowers, etc. and on other days, simply have a glimpse of the Meru by removing the red cloth. Meru Yantra is also buried under the foundation of a house or building, placed in the locker and the cash box.
